Research Description
Henry Nguyen has a research program in molecular genetics and biotechnology. His research interests include structural and functional genomics of soybean and model plants. Specific research areas include:
- Genetic and physical mapping of traits controlling plant adaptation and productivity under stress conditions (drought, flooding and high temperature).
- Integrated functional genomics and genetic engineering for stress tolerance and value-added traits in soybean.
- Development and application of genomic technologies to soybean improvement.
